Presentation guidelines

The ICSAA 2021 Oral and Poster Sessions will be held on the 8th floor, Khunying Long Athakravisunthorn Learning Resources Center (LRC), Prince of Songkla University, Hat Yai Campus, Songkhla, Thailand.

Oral presentation guidelines

  • Oral presenters must provide slides in either Power Point or PDF format.
  • All oral presentations are allocated 10-12 minutes for the presentation plus 3-5 minutes for audience Q&A session.
  • All oral presentations must run on Window operating system.
  • Bring your presentation to the conference on a USB storage device. It is recommended to back up your presentation by saving a copy on a web-accessible server or e-mailing the file to yourself.
  • ICSAA administrative team will load all presentations onto conference computers.
  • Presenters are required to use the provided computer and highly discouraged from using personal laptop computers because of the time constraint and technical complication.
  • Presenters must arrive at your session 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the SESSION.

Important Notice:

  • Presenters are free to design the PPT as they wish.
  • The PISAI and EU logo are compulsory for PPT presentation. Click here to download the logo
  • All presentation times are shown in Thailand Standard Time (GMT +7)

Poster presentation guidelines

Poster presentation provides an opportunity for a discussion and exchange of ideas between presenters and audience.

  • Presenters must register upon arrival at the conference.
  • All posters will be grouped according to conference sessions and assigned a poster number.
  • Posters should be set up on Sunday, January 10 from 14.30 – 17.30 or Monday, January 11 from 8.30 – 10.30 in the designated area as indicated by the poster number which will be posted on the poster boards.
  • Poster presenters will display their posters throughout the conference and will present Poster Session on Monday, January 11 from 15.30 – 17.00 and remove at the end of the conference in the evening of January 12, 2021.
  • Poster presenters should arrive at the poster session location at least 10 minutes prior to the start of the session.


On-line presentation guidelines

Oral presenters

  • The on-line tool for presentation is Zoom. Presenters will receive a link to your session.(Click here for presentation program)
  • On-line presenters are responsible to ensure that your device meets the system requirements for online live presentation.
  • Presenters must ensure that you are online at least 20 minutes before the session starts. Please enter your conference room with the camera and the microphone turned-off. Open (enable) your camera and microphone only when you are invited by the session moderator.
  • Presenters should prepare a 10-12 minutes for the presentation plus 3-5 minutes for Q&A session.
  • Presenters will be asked to share their screen and control the flow of the presentation themselves.
  • Transitions between presentations will be coordinated by the session moderator to keep the session on time. However, the session moderator is flexible if technical problems occur.
  • During the conference, if you would like to ask any question, please click the "raise hand" button.

Important Notice:

  • A presentation files or slides must be sent to the ICSAA committee via mail by January 5, 2020 as a backup copy.
  • If technical assistance is needed during the session, please notify the session moderator in order that we can assist with the problem.


Arrival at the venue

  • Presenters must register upon arrival at the conference.
    • For Aquaculture session, please upload your presentation on Sunday, January 10 from 14.30 – 17.30 or Monday, January 11 from 08.30 – 09.30.
  • All presentations must be uploaded at the Data Center which will open on Sunday, January 10 from 14.30 – 17.30 and Monday, January 11 from 08.30 – 11.00.
