On 12 August 2026, Asst. Prof. Taweesak Niyombandith, Dean of the Faculty of Natural Resources (FNR), Prince of Songkla University, together with FNR staff, welcomed Professor Dr. Hong-Yi Gong from the Department of Aquaculture, College of Life Sciences, National Taiwan Ocean University (NTOU), Taiwan.Professor Dr. Gong was invited as an invited speaker at the Fifth Conference on Agricultural Innovation and Natural Resources during 13-14 August 2026, organized by the Faculty of Natural Resources.
During his visit, discussions were held on potential academic collaboration and exchange between the two institutions. Both sides expressed interest in strengthening academic cooperation, particularly through faculty and student exchanges and the development of a Double Degree Program.The meeting provided an excellent opportunity to explore future collaboration and further strengthen the academic partnership between the Faculty of Natural Resources, Prince of Songkla University, and National Taiwan Ocean University.
